What is Tooth-Derived Bone Graft Material?
Tooth-derived bone graft material is an eco-friendly biomaterial that transforms teeth back into bone, improving the success rate of dental implants.
It is an innovative biotherapeutic material, developed for the first time in the world by Korea Tooth Bank, that processes extracted teeth—previously discarded as waste—into graft material that promotes bone regeneration.
Teeth share the same organic and inorganic components as alveolar bone, and tooth-derived bone graft material possesses osteogenic (induction), osteoconductive (conduction), and bone remodeling capabilities, meeting the demanding requirements of graft materials used in dental implant procedures that must withstand masticatory forces.
Through safe processing technology certified by the Ministry of Health and Welfare, Korea, the material preserves only the essential elements required for bone formation, providing a strong and long-lasting foundation for dental implants.
